Work Experience

I worked as a book handler, where my main job was picking books and scanning them to get orders ready for customers. It was a fast-paced warehouse environment where we had to hit at least 100 picks per hour, so staying on pace was important. I worked both with a partner and alone to get books boxed up and moved to the shipping department. The job was physically demanding with heavy lifting and hot conditions, but I learned to push through and get the job done. I also learned to communicate with my team and supervisors when books were missing or when inventory was low so, we could find solutions quickly.

This shows me and a coworker getting ready to scan the boxes and search for the books on the blue racks!
